The Tridente 44 OC is the first member of a new generation of Babro motor yachts alongside the familiar Classic Line and New Line. The Tridente is a contemporary family yacht with optimal freedom of movement; for example, the saloon and large cockpit are on the same level. In addition, the design team has managed to really utilise every square centimetre. Of course, several layout options are possible: two or three cabins? One or two luxury washrooms, each with a separate shower? You name it. After all, Babro Yachting blurs the boundaries between series construction and custom-built. Visually, it is not only the almost straight bow that catches the eye, but also the beautiful, three-dimensionally shaped saloon roof.
The standard electric sunroof makes 'open sailing' a breeze. Also note the pronounced cap; it prevents annoying reflections on the steering position and over the spacious cockpit with its very generous round seating area, a longtoproof is fitted as standard for optimal protection against rain and sun. Would you like a shorter version of the cockpit roof? That is also easily possible. Or would you like an opening roof in the cockpit? And speaking of protection: the solid stainless steel bumper all around not only reinforces the beautiful sheer, but also prevents damage to the sleek, high-quality paint system. Damage that could at most be caused by third parties, because a Tridente 44 OC owner has as standard a very strong and proportional bow and stern thruster that allows the yacht to be manoeuvred with thumb and forefinger.
From the swimming platform, you reach the very spacious cockpit via both sides. The comfortable spacious round seating area in the cockpit can accommodate at least six people. An ideal place to chill out; the comfortable transom bench seats ... people. Time for a nice glass of wine? The pantry in the saloon is within easy reach and while preparing dinner, it is easy to communicate 'at floor level' with both the steering position and the cockpit. By the way, the Tridente comes with a range of handy accessories and extras as standard. We're not just talking about handy sailing aids, but also, for example, a washing machine, a deck wash installation, central heating with hot water preparation, electronic engine controls, convertible top and so on. In short: 'fully loaded'.
The steering position is a story in itself. We pay a lot of attention to both ergonomics and all-round visibility. This translates into a comfortable cockpit or helm seat for two with an almost 360º all-round view thanks to the use of thin window columns and especially plenty of glass. And the L-shaped saloon settee on the port side is a great place to relax with a good view out. Open the sliding roof and you can sunbathe in total privacy if you wish! In the evening, warm white LED lighting adds to the atmosphere here. Below decks, we have provided a luxurious owner's cabin with French bed and an abundance of cupboard space. The accompanying luxury sanitary facilities are not inferior to those at home. Optionally, guests or grandchildren can have their own wet room in addition to their own midship cabin. In other words: complete privacy for the owners!
With 40 years of experience in designing and building motor yachts in addition to a successful charter business, we know by now where the bottlenecks are. That's why we only settle for the best materials sourced from reputable suppliers. And rather one size bigger than too small. A look in the engine room says it all. The engine room is fitted as standard with a 150 hp diesel engine, ample for a top speed of about 16 km/h, which is placed in a very well sound-insulated engine room. Combined with the large diesel tank, cruising at 10 km/h will get you 1,400 kilometers effortlessly. And with a headroom of only 2.85 meters, the French canals are no obstacle at all.
Outward bound to the Côte d'Azur is of course also a possibility thanks to the CE-B classification. Here the sophisticated underwater hull ensures comfortable sailing. All in all, the Babro Tridente 44 OC is an ultimate family boat that, thanks to its complete equipment, is also suitable for longer trips to distant places. Moreover, various layout options are available and the color palette is downright surprising, as is the pricing....
The Newline from Babro Yachting and a typical example of classic Dutch steel construction with a clear contemporary momentum.
The Babro Classic Line consists of multihull motor yachts with very good sailing characteristics. They are therefore ideally suited for somewhat rougher water.
